Out of Body BAND BIO Out of Body is my favorite band. They are composed of 5 members. The original bass player is no longer with them. However, the original members were Allen Ashworth, Nick Hiatt, Shane Wood, Tracy Hatcher and Jason Holloway. They are all from Virginia and have many different musical backgrounds with a wide taste in music. Their sound is electric, edgy and rock. Just listening to their lyrics, you'll know that it ranges from deeply introspective prose to contemporary social commentary topics. To answer everyone's question on how they met Jay told me "they all met from being in bands in their hometown, and I moved here and met Allen/Portall and Tracy at a Club one night randomly and we talked about music and history was made. They told me they had a guitar player who wasn't there but I would meet him soon and it turned out I already knew their guitar player... who turned out to be Nick, who was friends with my -ex- before we dated and I had never met, but didn't like." Actually I find it a bit confusing. Don't you agree with me? Jay also told me where they are all from. "We come from different parts of VA... everyone else comes from Martinsville, VA which is very far south... and slightly western VA. I am from Extreme North Eastern Va... a place called Woodbridge about 20 miles South of D.C." INDIVIDUAL BIO Allen Ashworth: aka Portall Zaine; birthday: May 13, 1977; known for: SCREAMING, RANTING, electronic synthesized sound, electronic string resonations, beat manips; interests: female anatomy, excessively green shrubbery, barely and hops; favorites: films, astral-projections, ejaculation; as far as i'm concerend he does not have a girl friend but he is married to me! Singing, cause I can't play anything else. 3. How did u come up with the band name? Practice one night, we finished playing a song and Tracy said, "That felt like an OUT OF BODY experience!" and history was born. 4. Were u in a previous band before this? If so what is/are the names?
